In alignment with its public-benefit mission, EFKLIDIS PAVLIDIS STICHTING (the "EFKLIDIS PAVLIDIS") pursues a strategic framework of activities aimed at serving the public interest in Greece, with a particular focus on the region of Drama. EFKLIDIS PAVLIDIS is inspired by the values associated with Efklidis Pavlidis, namely hard work, creativity, integrity, respect for people, humility, meritocracy and faith.
The Foundation's activities are organized around three core pillars of action: ( 1 ) Health, Education & Scientific Advancement, ( 2 ) Culture, Environment & Spiritual Heritage, and ( 3 ) Social Inclusion & Solidarity. All activities and initiatives undertaken by EFKLIDIS PAVLIDIS are designed to fall under one or more of these pillars and to reflect the Foundation's non-profit, public-benefit character.
EFKLIDIS PAVLIDIS operates throughout the calendar year, responding to emerging needs and opportunities, while taking into account incoming requests, available resources, operational capacity and the expected public benefit of each proposed initiative.
1. Health, Education & Scientific Advancement
Access to healthcare, education, knowledge and scientific progress is central to individual dignity and to the long-term development of local communities. EFKLIDIS PAVLIDIS therefore supports initiatives that improve health outcomes, expand educational opportunities, encourage merit and excellence, and promote research and innovation with practical social value.
Under this pillar, EFKLIDIS PAVLIDIS may, among other activities:

Cultural heritage, artistic creation, environmental protection and spiritual heritage form part of the shared identity and continuity of a community. EFKLIDIS PAVLIDIS seeks to preserve and promote these elements in a manner that is respectful, sustainable and accessible to the wider public.

4. Implementation and Grant-Making Approach
EFKLIDIS PAVLIDIS implements a dynamic and diverse portfolio of charitable actions and initiatives. Its approach is twofold: (a) the provision of direct financial or in-kind assistance to third-party organizations, institutions or beneficiaries, and (b) the design and implementation of original programs and initiatives by EFKLIDIS PAVLIDIS itself.

5. Financial Resources and Asset Management
EFKLIDIS PAVLIDIS applies its income and assets exclusively in furtherance of its public-benefit objectives. EFKLIDIS PAVLIDIS does not pursue profit. Any surplus, donation, grant, bequest, inheritance or other resource received by EFKLIDIS PAVLIDIS shall be used, retained or managed in a prudent manner for the realization of the Foundation's objectives, in accordance with applicable law and the Foundation's Articles of Association.
EFKLIDIS PAVLIDIS may accept donations, grants, sponsorships, bequests and other lawful contributions, including bequests accepted with the benefit of inventory, provided that such acceptance is compatible with the Foundation's public-benefit character and does not compromise its independence or integrity.
6. Governance, Remuneration and Transparency
EFKLIDIS PAVLIDIS is governed by its Management Board in accordance with its Articles of Association and applicable law. The Management Board is responsible for determining the Foundation's priorities, supervising the use of resources, approving activities, and safeguarding the Foundation's public-benefit mission.
Management Board members do not receive remuneration for their board duties. Reasonable expenses incurred in connection with the performance of their duties may be reimbursed against appropriate proof, in accordance with the Articles of Association and applicable requirements.
EFKLIDIS PAVLIDIS aims to conduct its activities with transparency, integrity and accountability. Where required by law, applicable regulations or public-benefit status requirements, EFKLIDIS PAVLIDIS will make relevant financial, governance and activity information available through appropriate channels.
7. Review of the Policy Plan
This Policy Plan serves as a guiding framework for the Foundation's future direction. It may be reviewed and updated by the Management Board from time to time in order to reflect the Foundation's development, available resources, practical experience, regulatory requirements and the evolving needs of the communities it seeks to serve.
